Be the Change you want to see in the World!

Each and every day, we’re inundated with stories about how the world is going to hell. War, poverty, pollution… all manner of atrocities are flung at us from all directions, and it’s enough to draw even the most lighthearted person into a pit of despair.

Fortunately, a great way to counteract all that ugly is to be the change we want to see. None of us can change the entire world all by ourselves, but by making small amendments in our own lives and encouraging others to do the same, a snowball effect occurs that can affect the entire planet in course of time.

Below is a video that deals with the question: How we can change the world?

- Nelson Mandela

- Robin Williams

- Joel A. Barker

You are educated. Your certification is in your degree. You may think of it as the ticket to the good life. Let me ask you to think of an alternative. Think of it as your ticket to change the world.
- Tom Brokaw

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.
- Harriet Tubman

You change the world by being yourself.
- Yoko Ono

I wanted to change the world. But I have found that the only thing one can be sure of changing is oneself.
- Aldous Huxley

To change the world, you can do a simple thing. Just make sure everyone in your life knows how much they matter to you. Just make sure they feel joyous simply because you are in their life.

This doesn't require any extra time. It doesn't require any money whatsoever.

Yet, the difference you'll make in their life (and in your life and in the world) will be so profound that anything you can possibly do for them will pale in comparison.
